Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The Partnership and Inbound Sales team is dedicated to driving business growth by managing incoming sales opportunities and building strategic relationships with channel partners. This team focuses on nurturing leads, converting prospects into partners/merchants, and fostering partnerships to expand market reach, enhance engagement, and maximise revenue potential.
Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
As a Partnership and Inbound Sales Trainee, you will help build and nurture business relationships with Merchants and Referral Partners on Grab. Your responsibilities will include managing inbound application channels and overseeing the end-to-end onboarding process for Merchants, ensuring a seamless experience. Additionally, you will support Merchants in activating their brands on Grab's platform, while coordinating strategic initiatives with partners to drive acquisition growth.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Inbound Sales
* You will follow up on leads to complete Merchants' onboarding application through the physical onboarding counter at Grab Merchant Centre, or other inbound channels.
* You will ensure assigned onboarding leads are completed and activated within Service level agreement.
* You will handle Merchant queries regarding onboarding process.
* You will conduct telesales to convert leads into acquisitions.
* You will develop an understanding of Grab's products and business goals to propose cross-sell strategies and collaborate with broader teams.
Partnerships
* You will collaborate with internal business units to agree on partnership strategies and identify value propositions for our merchant referral and advertising partners.
* You will coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to organize events that support partnership goals of merchant acquisition and advertising sales.
* You will oversee end-to-end operational processes for partners, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal standards.
* You will develop decks to provide insights on partner performance during review sessions

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
* Minimum qualification: Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or an equivalent/higher academic qualification.
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu or Tamil
* Competency in Microsoft Office suite to create slide deck presentation and data analysis using Excel.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively handle merchant inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional support.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively, tailored to diverse business contexts.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple onboarding cases while observing set Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
