Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Essential Functions:
* Support in all commercial discussions with suppliers that collaborate with MBUSI
* General support in activities related to purchasing department, including future sourcing projects and cross functional meeting coordination
* Verify data accuracy from suppliers for the processing of claims; Provide appropiate feedback to suppliers
* Analyze supplier claims and help plausibilize costs (under general supervision)
* Organize and support team meetings and communications
* Lead responsibility from purchasing department for managing waste reduction project; Work cross functionally across MBUSI to implement and scale process

Other Regular Daily Tasks:
* Preparation of reports and presentations for management
* Participate in various negotiations with suppliers
* Support in other purchasing tasks

Qualifikationen

Create tracking systems for AGV monitoring - try to improve the Visual Management System of the Autotated Guided Vehicle(AGV's).Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:
Student in: Finance/Controlling, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:
* Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote)
* PowerBi
* Project management experience
* Preferred knowledge of AM Supply
* Cost Engineering
* Team work and collaboration

Preferred Start Date:
* September 2026

Benefits:
* Paid internship - hourly rate $18
* Coverage of visa costs
* $700 housing bonus

Requirements:
* Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
* Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
* A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
* Available for a minimum of 6 months
