Kick-Start Your Finance Career as a Tax Intern at Our Mexicali Plant. As a Finance Intern specializing in Taxes, you'll be part of our Finance & Accounting team, gaining hands-on experience that connects tax compliance, financial operations, and real business impact. This part-time opportunity will allow you to learn, contribute, and develop real-world tax and finance skills while supporting key compliance activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
WHY THIS INTERNSHIP?
You'll gain meaningful exposure to tax processes and fiscal compliance, working closely with finance professionals who will guide you through real situations that go beyond textbooks. From reviewing tax documentation to supporting VAT reconciliations and customs compliance, you'll build the foundations of a tax-focused finance career-while balancing your studies with a structured, on-site, part-time schedule.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Identify and analyze bank transactions, including the review of CFDIs and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper tax treatment.
* Review import and export customs declarations (pedimentos) to verify compliance with applicable tax and customs regulations.
* Validate VAT (IVA) calculations and provide support in account reconciliation processes to ensure correct reporting.
* Monitor and follow up on tax refund requests, supporting documentation gathering and communication with relevant stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
* 7th or 8th semester student in International Business, Accounting, or Business Administration
* Availability to work on-site at the Mexicali plant, 25 hours per week (Monday through Friday)* Basic to intermediate Excel skills
* Intermediate level of English
* Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and curiosity about how the business operates
