Legal Intern (Summer)

Position Summary:
* (8 week) 40 hours a week commitment
* Onsite based out of our Bridgewater, NJ location

The mission of the Legal & Compliance Department is to provide Catalent with world-class legal services that help it to grow and achieve its business goals. The legal intern will
have exposure to Catalent's AI governance framework and hands-on experience supporting approved AI use cases, including the development of internal AI agents.

Our Bridgewater location is the corporate office for Catalent.

The Role:
* AI Use and Compliance, including development of AI Agents for optimizing legal operation
* Support Catalent's ethics and compliance program
* Assist in developing and revising corporate policies and training
* Support Intellectual property
* Partner in commercial contracting and transactions
* Support Human Resources policies, counseling, and dispute resolution
* Partner with corporate governance
* Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:
* Rising second-year law student (having completed the first year of law school) currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school
* Ability to work full time (40 hours/week) for an 8-week period
* Interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, data privacy, and technology governance
* Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds

The anticipated salary range for this position in New Jersey is $24/HR, plus bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
