Your impact
Jacobs is seeking a Program/Construction Management Intern to join our Program Management/ Construction Management (PMCM) team in Cleveland, OH, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be involved in a variety of construction management tasks for our Airport Infrastructure client. Jacobs' Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team ensures successful project delivery by offering comprehensive services such as program planning, design management, construction management, risk management, and facility commissioning. They also provide tailored specialty services like performance management, safety plan development, logistics planning, and stakeholder coordination to meet client-specific needs.
As a Program/Construction Management intern you will
* Assist with the oversight of the program
* Observation of construction and assist with day to day management
* Attend meetings for collaboration and issue resolution and taking meeting minutes
* Reviewing RFIs and Submittals
* Reviewing estimates and contractor proposals
* Assist in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
* Support the quality control process by conducting inspections and documenting findings
This position demands a results-driven, client-focused professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic. You'll take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Your ability to manage your time and responsibilities effectively while maintaining a high standard work product will be instrumental in delivering successful project outcomes.

Here's what you'll need
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related degree
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
* Willingness to travel locally for project site visits or client meetings
* Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

The base salary range for this position is $45,000.00 to $65,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
