Scope of Job: The Business Development Intern will support the South Development Region team with the critical task of developing the regional Annual Business Reviewand Plan(ABRP). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex market data into clear, strategic recommendations that will shape the region's growth strategy.
Responsibilities
* Primary Focus: Annual Business Review & Plan Support: Directly assist the regional team in gathering, organizing, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and competitive data necessary for the creation of the ABRP framework and strategic slides.
* Strategic Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on regional power market dynamics, regulatory environments, and competitor activities specific to the South Development Region.
* Report & Presentation Development: Prepare professional, data-driven reports, charts, and presentations that summarize analysis findings for senior management review.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with OPM, Development, and Data Center Solutions teams to ensure the ABRP accurately reflects the region's activities and future objectives.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative or analytical field.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced analysis preferred) and PowerPoint (presentation design).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and strategic narratives.
* Proven ability to manage large datasets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
* Demonstrated strong interest in the energy transition, renewable power, and corporate strategy.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior internship or coursework experience in business intelligence, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Knowledge of the U.S. power market, especially in the Southern region
