Your impact

We're seeking an Electrical / I&C Engineering Intern to join our team in Columbus, OH. You'll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today's challenges. As an Electrical / Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Intern you will work with a core group of electrical, instrumentation and control, water/wastewater engineers, and designers on water and wastewater facility designs and construction services support to deliver innovative solutions to challenging technical problems that our clients face. You will work collaboratively with our team to complete the following

* Prepare designs and specifications for electrical systems and instrumentation and controls for water and wastewater facilities
* Development of process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and one line diagrams
* Electrical designs including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and control schematics
* Technical report writing
* Construction services support

Here's what you'll need

* In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* A strong interest in electrical or control system design.

Ideally, you'll also have

* Working knowledge of computer aided drafting programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
* A previous internship related to your field of study
* Ability to work in a multidiscipline team
* Self-driven time management and organizational skills

This position will be open for at least 3 days.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
