FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry.

Job Description:

* Assist engineers with developing test plans for HVAC unit rating, qualification and reliability testing
* Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing
* Assist engineering in product design and development
* Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support
* Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred)
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Test prototypes and write reports to document results
* Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages)
* Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment
* Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to perform mechanical design calculations
* Ability to perform basic design modifications
