Your role

We're looking for an Intern to:

* Work on projects that have real impact on clients
* Support our team of wealth management experts i.e.; Financial Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Marketing Professionals
* Show interest and willingness to learn systems and processes in wealth management
* Self-starter and leader that displays the ability to be assertive, ask questions and get answers
* Gain product knowledge from internal and external partner sessions to support your team

We welcome interns to become a part of our team. You will work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients, and our firm. This is an opportunity to gain valuable insight, develop new skills, and establish a network of mentors and business contacts. You will leave with a lot more than a job listing on your resume.

As part of Global Wealth Management Americas (GWMA), you'll be joining The Burish Group, a nationally recognized UBS wealth management team consisting of 40+ professionals dedicated to helping high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families achieve long-term financial success. The team is headquartered in Madison, WI and provides highly personalized financial guidance, backed by deep industry expertise and a multi-disciplinary service model.

The Burish Group works with clients who often have complex financial lives-including business owners, executives, retirees, multi-generational families, and philanthropic individuals. The team's advisors and specialists deliver tailored wealth strategies designed to align clients' assets with their values, priorities, and long-term goals.

Your expertise

* at least a 3.2 GPA
* a balanced resume which includes solid academic performance and campus involvement
* a genuine interest in developing a career in Wealth Management
* positive with a can-do approach
* analyze a problem, come up with ideas and make a decision
* show good judgment
* a planner; organized and can make things happen
* communicate well and work within a team
* able to stick with a task

Salary information

The base rate of pay offered for this role is $20.00/hour
