Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7.
Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Consumer Insights Intern to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the analysis of consumer behavior and market trends, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, conduct market research, and support the development of consumer-focused strategies.
Roles & Responsibility:
* Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
* Analyze data to identify key insights and actionable recommendations for improving product offerings and marketing strategies.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to gather and interpret customer feedback and sales data.
* Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.
* Support the execution of consumer-focused initiatives by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
Skills and Qualifications
* Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Marketing, Business Strategy/Analytics, Data Science/Analytics, or Master's program in Market Research/Consumer Insights, Applied Psychology/Behavioral Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, Strategy or related field.
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
* Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and provide innovative solutions.
* Bias for Action
Technical Skills Required:
* Data & Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, or Python for data analysis.
* Data Visualization and Story Telling: Advanced use of PowerPoint, specifically being able to chart data, build slides and create compelling learning narratives.
* Market Research: Experience with market research methodologies (surveys, focus groups, etc.).
* Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights effectively.
The hourly range for this role is expected to be $41 and $51. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
