About The Role

Lenovo is a global leader in innovative technology, and our GlobalSocial Media Teamdrives strategic paid media and analytics initiatives worldwide. As an Analytics and AI Integration Intern, you'll support our team by automating data workflows, integrating AI tools for insightful analysis, and building interactive dashboards. This hands-on role is ideal for students passionate about data analytics and AI applications in a business context, offering exposure to real-world projects without requiring advanced machine learning expertise. You'll work closely with the teamleadon connecting social reporting APIs to AI services, transforming data, and generating actionable reports to enhance content performance.

What You'll Do

* Assist in building and automating API connections to integrate social data sources (e.g., reporting tools) with AI APIs and visualization platforms like DOMO or Power BI.
* Perform data transformation, cleaning, and querying with SQL to prepare datasets for AI-powered contextual analysis on content and creatives.
* Develop interactive dashboard elements that allow users to query data and receive AI-generated guidance for decision-making.
* Collaborate on analyzing organic and paid social media performance metrics to derive insights and support global strategies.
* Hands on work with LLM's and AIintegrations, prompt structuring, response validation.
* Contribute todocumentation and presentations of project findings for the team.
* Lenovo works on a 3:2 hybrid schedule, 3 days in office and 2 flex. Our office is located at 8001 Development Drive, Morrisville NC. This role is open from Start: May 18 or June 1st through End: July 24th

Qualifications

* Currentlypursuing a Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Management Information Systems(MIS), Business Information Systems (BIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Data Science, or a related field.
* Basic proficiency in Pythonand/orJavascriptfor scripting and API integrations, and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, DOMO) and a general understanding of AI APIs for analysis.
* Experience with agenticAIautomation andorchestration, especially with autonomous workflows
* Experience withAIprompt structuring and validation.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle data structures and perform basic transformations.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
* Authorization to work in [relevant country] without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with API connections or automation projects (e.g., via personal or academic work).
* Knowledge of social media analytics or business intelligence concepts.
* Comfort using AI tools for data insights and reporting.
* Prior internship or coursework in analytics, data processing, or information systems.
* Experience in Microsoft CoPilot Studio is a nice-to-have.
* Experience Developing Visualizations and Apps within DOMO is a plus.
