AXA XL Human Resources Intern, Americas Hartford, CT AXA XL offers property, casualty, financial lines and specialty insurance and reinsurance solutions for mid-sized companies through to large multinationals globally. Sharpen your skills while gaining insight into the insurance industry. During our 10 week paid internship, you'll work on meaningful projects alongside diverse and highly skilled professionals as well as widely known leaders in a non-vertical structure that has learning and development in its DNA. During this program, you will join a specific team to learn about their function and the work they do. This opportunity gives you the chance to develop new skills, gain new experiences and interact with technical specialists and company management, which will be key to your future career development. You will be exposed to various areas of our business through intern events and activities. What you'll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? You will coordinate candidate scheduling by arranging interviews, confirming availability, and communicating details with candidates and interview teams for the Talent Acquisition team. You will review candidates and manage dispositions by determining next steps and updating each candidate's status (advance or reject) in the recruiting process. You may have the opportunity to conduct candidate screening by completing initial phone/virtual screens and documenting outcomes and recommendations. Compile, track, and organize recruitment and HR data, including interview metrics, candidate pipelines, and reporting summaries. Gain handson experience with applicant tracking systems, scheduling tools, and HR processes Complete cross-functional team project culminating in a final presentation to Senior Leadership. Network with leaders across the enterprise Engage in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial work environment What you'll bring We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership experience with a drive for results. A high level of intellectual capability and curiosity. Passion for solving problems through collaboration and innovation.
