Join Polar Explorer Icebreaker as a Guide Intern and gain hands-on experience in Arctic tourism, hospitality and international guest services. Based in Swedish Lapland, you will work aboard our icebreaker cruises and help create safe, welcoming and memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, conducting guided ship tours, explaining the icebreaker experience, assisting with onboard activities and supporting guests during the ice-floating. You will work closely with our international team and gain insight into all areas of the operation, including customer service, cruise preparation, safety procedures and daily logistics.

The internship also includes social media tasks, such as capturing photos and videos and helping share life aboard the icebreaker with our international audience.

We provide free daily meals and accommodation in a shared room. We are recruiting two interns, and applications from friends who would like to complete the experience together are especially welcome. This is a unique opportunity for adventurous, outgoing students who enjoy working with people in an extraordinary Arctic environment
