PATH is currently seeking a qualified Program Associate Intern for a Fondation Botnar-funded program, "Fit for the Future: Trailblazing NCD Prevention Education with Youth-driven Technologies." The project aims to improve the health and well-being of Vietnamese adolescents and young people while addressing key behavioral risk factors for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The Program Associate Intern will work closely with the project team to support communication and engagement activities, design and formatting of project materials, management of project communication channels, and coordination of project activities and events. The intern will also contribute to reviewing and testing project digital products, collecting user feedback, and supporting project operations and administration. The Program Associate Intern will report to the Primary Health Care Deputy Director and collaborate closely with PATH Vietnam's program team.
Proposed activities:
Communication and Design Support
* Support the design, formatting of communication materials and project deliverables in line with organizational and donor branding requirements
* Assist in developing visual assets and basic video content for project events, workshops, meetings, campaigns, and digital communication activities.
* Support communication channels, content development, and monitoring of communication performance and engagement.
Project Activity Support
* Support testing, user feedback collection and quality improvement and implementation of the project applications
* Assist in collecting and consolidating information, photos, and supporting materials from schools and project partners for project communication and reporting
Administrative and Operational Support
* Provide logistical, administrative, and coordination support for project activities, meetings, workshops, and events
Skills to be developed and/or expanded during internship:
* Practical experience in project communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Skills in designing and formatting communication and project materials.
* Experience managing communication channels and digital content.
* Basic understanding of health promotion and NCD prevention programs.
* Improved project coordination, planning, and reporting capabilities.
* Event organization and logistics coordination skills.
* Teamwork, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Application of AI tools to support communication, design, and project management tasks.
Brief description of required skills/experience the intern should possess
* Recent graduate or senior-year student in communications, public health, marketing, design, business administration, social sciences, or related fields.
* Demonstrated responsibility, attention to detail, teamwork, and professional work ethic
* Strong creativity, adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Word.
* Experience using Canva or other graphic design and content creation tools.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication channels.
* Experience or willingness to learn Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for content development and productivity enhancement.
* Strong motivation to learn and contribute in a dynamic project environment
