Brussels has two oficial languages: French and Flemish, so sometimes it was a bit difficult to communicate and you end up speaking in English, language that everyone speaks there.

Travel a lot: you´re next to a lot of different countries.
If you know several languages, it would be easier for you to find a job, Brussels is a very cosmopolitan city!

What i liked most is that I met a lot of students from different countries and I learnt to live with them. The building, rooms, etc..was ok but cleaning could have been better.

I really love cinema, so the filmuseum was a nice place to go.
My favourite cafe was Le roi de Belges, located in a neighbourhood full of cafes like this one.
Lots of concerts everywhere..
Nightbar: for the Spanish community, our favourite bar was "El Cabraliego", full of Spanish students. Cheap and funny.
