In the student bank card I did at the Rabobank, is only useful in their cash dispensers.

Accomodation was clean and close to the centre of Utrecht, with study rooms and big living rooms for meeting and studenst activity.

hehe, in the Netherlands it's pretty easy to communicate in English, almost everyone speaks this language. This makes us foreingers, of course, lazy to learn Dutch ... :)

As in the whole Netherlands, the night life is based on the caffes and clubs all around the city. Specially, Utrecht has a marvellous ambient during the night all week long (Don´t forget that is a student city). Some tips; if you are interested either in technological or jazz music, Netherlands offers you a wide diversity of places. In Utrecht there are magical clubs, as The Tivoli (all kind of music along the week,the best day for me is Thursday) Omelizhing (probably the best after in the city) or Winkel van Sinkel (with cool sessions during the weekend, specially techno with "Club Risk" and some others from around Europe). If you prefer the caffes, the offer is great, either to eat or just drink a beer outside the caffe, the center is your zone.

Yo can have there some Dutch courses! but it's just one hour by week so not enough to really learn the language.Maybe I didn't speak enough with local students.

I think my level of knowledge in the language of instruction has improved a lot after one year reading, writing and working on assignments all year long.
