“Review about University of Applied Sciences Utrecht”
Louisa S
Germany, Undergraduate
Marketing and Sales Management, 2022
Overall
As the course Creative Business was marketed as a complex course of marketing, media and communications, it did not match up to those promises. The university spontaneously decided to remove those integral parts halfway through the duration of the course and decided to focus their efforts on entrepreneurship, which many students are simply not interested in. Communication with teachers and staff is oftentimes a one-sided process, with little engagement or response. Assignments are very similar and oftentimes only cover the basics, however grading of those is dependent on the teacher's expertise within the subject and their liking of the student. I would not recommend applying for this university.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would choose differently because my personal situation wouldn´t be the same, I would prefer to live not with students in a Campus if I will be working tough.

The personal accomodation is pretty good because of the characteristics in the Netherlands for young people to live independently form their parents. There is a special office in each faculty in charge of the accomodation for the exchange students.

I am really courious about Dutch language, by the way, I am keeping learning till now. Unfortunately, most Dutch can speak so beautiful English that I could not find a lot of chances to practise my Dutch language. Honestly, the English level of Dutch is also a good point for me, a foreiger, living in the Netherlands.
