Personal comments
The rooms at Owens Park were not particularly up-to-date. The furniture was very old,the rooms were dark even in the daytime and the windows couldn't be closed tightly. The food was below every european standard (well, Britons have never been famous for their cuisine) and living with british freshers can be quite noisy. All in all it was just enough to live.
