choose the summer period to go in norway.wether is absolutly better and people is more open and nice.this is extremely important if you want really enjoy thi experience!!!!!

UMB gives you possibility to buy Basic Equipment Package so that you don’t need to bring your own kitchen utensils, beddings, towels etc. [check at: http://www.sias.no/english/housing/student_residences/tenant_info/practical_info/basic_equipment_package.html ] It costs, however. The solution is to buy used one from a student that leaves UMB and don’t need it anymore (it’s cheaper!!!).
I am leaving at the end of this spring semester and want to sell BEP (complete, not damaged, in a very good shape). So if you are coming for winter semester 2007 and need one, just let me know.

it was pretty good for every thing except for the location: to far from the center.there was not a bancomat or market; i had to walk for almost one km to get food!!!

there is only one big pub-coffee-disco into the building of studente society.i suggest to go outside the town. oslo is not so far and it's full of nice club.
