In my host country, the language is Swedish. Most of the people speak in local language. They are quite fluent in English as well. I did not find any difficulty while interacting with most of the people. Only problem was in case of reading anything. Overall, my experience was great

Saltis is the best place to stay when studying at SSE, not only centrally located but also close to university.

The dorm was very pleasant. Always a good place to start a night out with a dinner in the shared-kitchen, or just watch champions league with some friends.

Food and social spending like going out and alcohol is extremely expensive. Theres not much you can really save money on except transportation, when taking the subway and living close to the city, don't buy an unlimited travel pass, just use the 10 or 20 trip cards.
