This university has a huge amount of different traditions, which help to feel as a part of a big family. Mays Business school offers a wide range of courses for business students.

There is a bus system available, but in my opinion a bike would be necessary to come around in College Station. If you don't want to fly from Houston to College Station, there are different Airportshuttles, which you can use and which are maybe cheaper. I had a wonderful time in College Station and would go back immediatley, if I had the possibility.

As any university of this size there will always be problems because it's impossible to please everyone. Other than that Texas A&M is an excellent institution with tons of history and tradition.

As a minority student coming into a predominantly white institution like Texas A&M University, I would say it was a surprisingly accommodating experience. There were a plethora of organizations fit for any archetype of any person present in the university. Furthermore, the hospitable environment with raging school pride always amazes me as I walk around the campus.

Careers
The career office at Texas A&M is up to par with other universities.  Although the internships at Texas A&M University aren't abundant, there are plenty of research opportunities for upperclassmen to shadow professors in the particular field he/she wants to pursue. The career advising center is also standard since Texas A&M has such a massive student body population with over 60,000 undergraduate students that it would be hard for every counselor to adhere to everyone's needs.

Size of the school should be a little smaller

Overall
Texas A&M had a great STEM program with a lot of different options to pursue. The faculty was always knowledgeable and willing to meet outside of regular class hours if extra  help or clarification was needed. The campus was great and had all the amenities you would expect or need.

Careers
Yes, there are programs that allow interested students to seek out internships both at home and abroad, though I personally did not take advantage of the ones offered by the university while I was there.

I guess one of the problem is not to have a car because in the US everything is big and far! but overall I experienced all the best. I made new friends, I travelled and improved my English.
