Personal recommendation
Don´t forget that LLeida is in Cataluña. This implies that a lot of courses are in that languages and teachers won´t change the language for your pleasure! So you have to get prepared about this thing...I think I didn't.

Academic
Course recommendations
The English level is quite low comparing to what I have in France. The name of the courses and their countain may be a little bit disappointing...but you can always count on al the International Relations staff.

The tasks we have to give back troughout the course are very long to do and only count for a 10% to 30%!!! It seemed to me a bit strange and dissapointed.

Personal comments
I had a problem : I wanted to improve my Spanish but all the local people spoke Catalan!!! I didn't learn Catalan on purpose because I wanted to strengthen my Spanish knowledge. So for 4 months I had spent my time with Spanish-speaking people like Mexicans to improve it. After that, I tried to speak a bit of Catalan.

Personal comments
In winter, one of my roommate lifted up the house temperature so high (about 25ºC) for his cats (whereas for human beings he would put it down until 15ºC) that we received an awesome bill to pay : almost 100€ each (we were 5)!!! I was so angry...if we knew it, we wouldn't have not accepted his cats at home.

Housing at the university is much expensive that sharing a flat. It's very tiny as well. Some friends of mine who had the opportunity to change it didn't hesitate a second.

My favorite night club was "Wonder", it's outside town but not expensive to go to...Then, I recommand "fissure" a great latino night club in LLeida and "River" next to the university of Economy. YOU MUST GO TO RICARD VINYES : this is the best place to have a drink with some friends.
