My Italian improved substantially as a result of the Erasmus experience. No serious communication problems were encountered.

Feel a lot more confident with grammar and composition of Italian language after year at the University of Verona.
Can speak and understand better than I ever would have been able to had I not lived in the country for nine months. Would have been more beneficial if I had tried harder to find a situation in which I would be forced to speak Italian all the time. Had a job at a bar for three months and this proved a useful test for my skills.

I was quite fluent before I came here. I needed some practise as I did not have the opportunity to speak Italian everyday in Malta but here Im not having any problems. I am also attending the course offered to Erasmus students to improve it to the most.

Very good. Had studied Italian in Holland before arrival here, but here as well good, free courses were offered on differentiated levels. Also interacting with local Erasmus students support (ASE) greatly improves knowledge of Italian (incl. slang...)

I felt I was constantly improving even though I spent a lot of time with other international students.
