The price you pay for the quality of courses and teaching you get is abhorrent. Plus this university is forcing me to pay 1000 euros extra for an administrative mistake. If you want to attend an institution which has no interest in academia nor has the best interest of academics in mind, then you should definitely attend Leiden University

The English courses are designed for the Dutch students. The foreigners are not accepted. Grades for the foreigners are lower by default. The competency and professionalism of the staff is rather poor. I had personally faced racism, ageism and been removed from (English) courses because I do not speak Dutch. I found the racism institutionalized.
The attitude is: the Kingdom of Netherlands is for the Dutch only.

The cost of living is very high in Netherlands than India. Food and other basic things are extremely costly. I spend thrice the time I could get it i India, inspite of taking care of present exchange.

Netherlands is thrice the time costly to India. So, I had to have lot of surprises in buying my basic food even. Milk and butter are ok. Others are very costly. So, no savings, only trying to avoid extra expenses
