The university is very international and therefore the variety in committees and events is large.

Their online system could be modernized and made more efficient. The feedback provided for assignments vary a lot as well –– the range varies from professor to professor.

Recomendación personal
First of all,the international student profile could have been more diversified.
Secondly, the scholarship should have been more available, as a Chinese student I couldn't access to any scholarship in the second year!
The email university distribute should have been in both Dutch and English instead of only in Dutch.
Last but not least, the university could have done better in help the students with finding interships.

it was expensive, for sure , about 300euros for a small room and shared bathroom and kitchen with 6 others studnets, but the living room was huge, cable, pools...

Make sure that everything is well arranged before coming. If any kind of problem arises it will be complicated to resolve. Burocracy is heavy and flexibility is not a choice.

Although Dutch is the main language in the Netherlands, the people tend to know English, but speak Dutch within themselves. Overall, its not difficult when in a university town because most people will speak English with you.
