Challenging and Diverse University
Samantha L
United States, Undergraduate
Language, 2020
Overall
courses, teachers, student, campus life, etc
As a Chinese language major, most of my classes were either generals or basic classes I needed to take in addition to Chinese language and asian history classes.
Several of my teachers had years of experience in China, which helps give me direction and inspiration.
The students on campus are a diverse lot! For example, last year we had over 500 Chinese foreign exchange students. I often hear people speaking different languages and feel at times like I'm not in America, per say.
I live off of campus, so my life is somewhat different from a student living on the dorm. In addition to going to school FT, I also work PT/FT. I normally work about 20 hours per week, which an occasional week where I'll work about 35 hours. I have to work more than normal because I'm paying for rent and all other expenses.

Wholesome university in a gem of a town
Gabriella A
Denmark, Undergraduate
Engineering, Civil, 2020
Overall
I am part of the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences and the classes are tough but you never have to suffer a lone. I highly recommend Engineering Plus because it allows you to explore another field of your interest. Take as many GEEN classes as you can to get more hands-on experience!

Overall
Personal recommendation
One needs to apply him/herself in order to get the most of the academics. Social life could be hard to get into if one is not very open.

Great school and location but not perfect
Edgard R
United States,
Economics, 2024
Overall
Professors are great, students are mostly friendly, campus and around campus life are very fun. Biggest issues are that as a big school you can feel rushed when talking to advisors, professors, etc.

Careers
Career office works a little with students but due to size they may not give you as much help as you could get at another smaller school.
