Long Description

As a Software Test Automation Engineer at John Deere, based in the Indaiatuba/SP unit, you will be responsible for contribute to the development, execution, and continuous improvement of automated test solutions for embedded software systems. you will work closely with you supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure software quality, reduce manual testing, and accelerate feedback loops to development teams.

Key Responsabilities

* Lead test automation efforts for specific feature sets or platforms;
* Mentor engineers and interns on automation best practices and tools;
* Drive improvements in test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection;
* Represent the team in technical discussions and contribute to roadmap planning;
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for embedded software platforms;
* Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and validation teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria;
* Execute test cases in SIL, HIL, and VIL environments and analyze results to identify defects;
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to test framework enhancements;
* Document test plans, procedures, and results in compliance with internal quality standards;
* Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with automated test integration;
* Design Test Cases from Requirements.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
* Advanced English: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and provides training;
* Familiarity with Python, Jenkins, GitHub, and test automation frameworks;
* Understanding of CAN/Ethernet protocols and embedded systems basics;
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
* Ability to lead initiatives and coach junior engineers.
* Experience in embedded software, testing and/or teste automation
* Experience with Test Automation as: ECU-Test, PyTest

* Experience with test-driven development and performance testing;
* Experience with ECU-Test or similar tools;
* Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools;
* ISTQB certification or equivalent;
* Basics Knowledge on JD1939
* Experience with tests in SIL, HIL, and VIL environments
* Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity.
