Job Description:
Purpose of the role
* The 3P Manufacturing & Quality Lead will report to 3P Manufacturing / Quality Manager and will have direct accountability for managing performance for 3P Manufacturing Operations and Quality to deliver the company short and long term performance objectives, establish quality processes, adherence to Global and regional Castrol Quality standards and provide support on HSSE & Compliance agenda.
* The 3P / Quality Lead is also responsible for the end-to-end operational and quality oversight of third-party manufacturing (3P) sites, ensuring that production plans are driven as agreed with Planning and S&OP. In this role 3P/Q Lead acts as a critical interface between Planning, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners, operating with a high level of autonomy and accountability
Accountabilities
* Drive assurance of the Quality culture, ensure conformance to Global Quality Manual and Quality policies, customer requirements, and standards certifications; ensure implementation of Q Manufacturing standards within 3rd Parties in the region within the minimum target metric.
* Demonstrates ownership in driving end-to-end production execution at third-party manufacturers, ensuring service level (IFOT) performance while balancing cost and working capital constraints.
* Align and approve production plan from the Planning & SOP team and ensure its effective execution at third-party manufacturing sites. Act as the main operational point of contact with third-party manufacturers to confirm production schedules, capacity availability and material readiness.
* Coordinate corrective actions with Planning, Logistics, and the third party to mitigate any impact to service level, inventory, or customer commitments.
* 3P Performance Management: develop and track, based on appropriate set of important metrics (key performance indicators) to enable regular review of the operational performance of the 3P plant and identification of opportunities for safety, quality, service, logistics and efficiency always seeking to promote continuous improvement.
* Provide periodic monitoring and communication to GSC LT of the key performance indicators.
* Ensures financial execution of third-party manufacturing operations by controlling payment flows, maintaining cost-per-liter alignment with Procurement agreements, and delivering manufacturing CPL within budget.
* Continuous improvement of current process to improve quality, reduce cost, and simplify manufacturing procedures (promoting a supply chain excellence culture).
* Work as 3p/Quality Leader for all processes, new SKUs launching and projects needed to support the business in the region.
* Coordinate internal/ external audits processes to ensure business adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF.
* Guarantee the necessary controls and active management for inventory accuracy at 3P along with backstage invoices flow and taxes processes, according to local legislation and Castrol procedures.
* Act as a link with Regional Packaging Engineering to ensure right standards and new developments.
* Act as a contact point/liaison between Castrol and Contract Manufacturers in the region for communication and implementation of changes according to initiatives and projects. Ensure Management of Change is documented and approved by local procedures.
* Coordinate Quality & Compliance Incident reports, action plans and keep records updates on EQMS database, according to the global ways of working.
* Coordinate the processes of Non-Conformance reports of suppliers and third parties, ensuring adherence to Castrol's Quality Policy.
* Coordinate QMS Performance assessment of main 3P sites and productive suppliers.
* Support the areas in the preparation / writing / formatting of documents/ procedures, according to the methodology defined by the organization, ensuring that the revisions are carried out within the established deadlines.
* Make the monthly follow-up of the records of open customer complaints (within 3P/ Quality scope), ensuring a return on time and with quality to customers.
* Drive assurance of the HSSE culture, including the implementation of some programs and necessary tools for risks identification and elimination or mitigation.

* Handling cost, capacity, and timeline pressures without compromising product integrity or brand reputation.
Experience & Expertise
* Proven experience working in an industrial environment, desirable in leadership positions.
* Proven ability to drive execution and accountability across third-party manufacturers through influence and governance.
* Good comprehension of business strategic plans and capacity of planning using objectives and targets
* Sense of urgency and capacity to positively react to unexpected events
* Hands-on experience managing or overseeing third-party / contract manufacturing operations.
* Proven experience in production planning execution, coordination with Planning and Supply Chain teams.
* Experience handling quality deviations, non-conformances, RCA and CAPA processes.
* Exposure to quality management systems (QMS) and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, IATF or equivalent).
* Experience in leading internal, external, or supplier audits.
* Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
* Experience influencing interested parties without direct hierarchical authority.
* Background in risk assessment, waiver evaluation, and technical decision support.
* Experience with data-driven performance monitoring (indicators, trends, operational metrics).
Economic dimensions
Direct impact on quality cost, supply continuity, risk mitigation, and overall profitability of outsourced manufacturing operations.
HSSE Accountabilities
* Be a leader in terms of adherence to the BP safety policies.
* Follow the procedures related to environmental aspects and requirements of ISO 9001
* OMS Support on Working with Contractors
* Monitor HSSE/Ethics compliance in 3rd Party activities by adhering to the Code of Conduct.

Education
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required; advanced education in Operations, Quality, or Supply Chain is a strong plus.
* English knowledge - advanced (desirable)/ fluency is a strong plus.
* Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Supplier Quality, Quality Auditing (CQA), and ISO Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3) are highly desirable.
