Responsibilities

The Opportunity

People Manager and support each of team member executions for all Revenue Management and Promotions Packaging Projects related with Foods Cross Categories agendas within the organization focused on PBF, Andean and South Cone Ous agendas; also be able to provide technical support and guidance to all areas involved in these processes and direct reports, as well as People Planning, Resource Management and Coaching sessions for direct reports.

The R&D Packaging Associate Manager supports all the Packaging associates in all low to high complexity packaging projects for Brazil, Andean and South Cone Operating Units.

The 2024 R&D South America packaging budget is around USD 210M and the Packaging Manager will lead all Revenue Management and Promotions Across Foods categories packaging projects, and will support the packaging associates reporting directly to the role, as well as to guarantee in time delivery of all initiatives related to role.

Furthermore, this professional will be involved on people managing, people development and coaching, and leadership influencing.

Your Impact

As R&D PACKAGING MANAGER your scope would consist of:
* Approve Specifications, Procedures, and Processes documentation for raw materials and new products.
* Manage and support of Technical Solutions for raw materials and finished products to comply with pep+ and Local Regulations.
* Responsible of development and launch of new materials, equipment and/or line extensions.
* Deep Technical Knowledge of functional properties of materials, as well as assessment for development and support of new analytical technics to determine them.
* Identify opportunity areas to develop Continuous Improvement projects to enhance quality of materials, equipment and products, to achieve consumer preference whilst fully aligning to product design.
* Guarantee quality consistency and operational feasibility of our products, through direct reports.
* Negotiate and Influence business partners and/or key suppliers to build Packaging strategies.
* Approve and review technical reports that generate recommendations for Innovation & Productivity.
* Define and control Budget, according to AOP.
* To lead manage resources to deliver Revenue Management, Quality Improvement and/or Sustainability projects;
* To identify project and business needs and address it though packaging strategies and packaging solutions;
* To map internal and external packaging technologies available;
* To develop resource pipeline;
* To support technically direct reports and influence with extended teams, senior leaders and suppliers;
* To negotiate and influence timelines regarding the packaging development stream and input to the team
* To approve and assess run trials in plant;
* To approve and assess shipment tests;
* To approve and assess trial reports created by direct reports;
* To lead conversations with suppliers and business partners senior leadership;
* To lead development conversations with direct reports and create development plans;
* To assess, approve and influence packaging risk assessment
* To know-how to operate SAP for document approval
* Travel to the different plant / co man / sites of (COMPANY NAME) in Latam South, as required per business needs.
Qualifications

* Avanced English and Spanish, required.
