Business Area

In this function you demonstrate scientific value by strategic partnering with in- and external stakeholders, by understanding and anticipating their needs and by translating these proactively into actions. You support the strategic planning and delivery of all medical affairs initiatives in a specific brand to support the local objectives while staying in close touch with customers (50-50% field time). Next to that you help the cross-functional team who is active in the Therapeutic Area to ensure that they optimally contribute to their specific task. You stimulate the team's contribution to the clinical development and medical evidence generation & and build confidence for our products to inform clinical practice with a clear patient centric approach.

What you'll do

* Effectively communicate with both external and internal stakeholders, highlighting your exceptional medical experience and ability to strategically support clinical trials.
* Work with key external experts and closely collaborate with them to conduct engaging scientific exchanges.
* Lead regional advisory boards and play a pivotal role in organizing exciting scientific meetings.
* Identify and collaborate with clinical study investigators, showcasing your hands-on experience in conducting clinical research.
* Provide information on externally sponsored research and open innovation programs, demonstrating your open mindset and ability to think innovatively.
* Act as a Medical expert for internal stakeholders, providing valuable scientific insights to help guide the company's strategic decisions.
* Prepare and tailor medical strategy & have budget planning and monitoring responsibilities

Essential for the role

* College/university degree in science or clinical qualification with relevant scientific experience.
* Ability to interact with and manage various stakeholders.
* Strong expertise in discussing scientific content with diverse audiences.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong leadership and management capabilities.
* Availability to travel as required.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
