Duties and responsibilities related to the Door Host role
· Deliver a warm, professional first and last impression by welcoming guests and assisting with their arrival and departure experience.
· Provide courteous assistance with luggage handling, vehicle arrivals, and guest requests to ensure a seamless journey through the hotel.
· Coordinate transportation arrangements, including organizing taxis and providing guidance on parking options.
· Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming hotel entrance by managing vehicle flow and keeping external areas clean and presentable.
· Safeguard guest belongings and vehicle keys in accordance with hotel procedures and security standards.
· Share knowledgeable recommendations about the hotel's facilities, services, dining outlets, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
· Work collaboratively with Front Office and other hotel teams to anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service.
· Uphold Hyatt brand standards, safety procedures, and service excellence while creating memorable experiences for every guest.
About you
You are a friendly, approachable, and service-oriented individual who enjoys creating memorable first impressions for guests. Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or Door Host/Porter role is highly advantageous, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. You take pride in your presentation, communicate confidently with people from diverse backgrounds, and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. A full, valid driver's licence is essential, along with the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Above all, you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and embody Hyatt's culture of care.
