THE ROLE

In the context of a job creation, EdRPE is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to strengthen its finance team.

The position will report to the EdRPE Senior Financial Controller. The position is based in Luxembourg.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role's responsibilities include:

* Accounting:
* Support to the accounting of the AIFM and the holding company
* Supervision of an investment vehicle, especially monitoring of the cash, capital calls and distributions
* Calculation and invoicing of quarterly management fees and related retrocessions, as well as ad-hoc fees
* Preparation of reporting packs and supervision of consolidated reporting for EdR PE and its subsidiaries. Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and resolution of consolidation controls in the consolidation software. The EdR PE consolidation perimeter includes about 40 entities.
* Preparation of the annual financial statements for the AIFM and the holding company
* Follow-up of the external audit for the AIFM, the holding company and the investment vehicle

* Financial reporting:
* Participating in the preparation of annual budgets and accounting forecasts (income and expenses)
* Quarterly budget and P&L monitoring
* Preparation of various financial reports

* Other:
* Participating in the preparation of various tax forms (tax returns, VAT, etc.)
* Preparation of AIFM-related reports (CSSF, AMF, etc.)
* Follow-up of legal deadlines (filing of accounts, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

EdRPE seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group and are highly motivated. In addition to strong analytical skills, the successful candidate must have:
* Three+ work experience in the financial industry - ideally as an auditor, fund controller, middle officer or accountant from the Asset Management industry
* Knowledge of the alternative investment industry is a plus
* Highly structured, rigorous and committed
* Highly motivated (self-starter)
* Fluency in English and French
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel
* Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of accounting software DeMaSy and consolidation software SAP FC is a plus
* Operate with the highest level of integrity, motivation and confidentiality
* Master degree in Finance / Accounting / Audit
