How will you make an impact in this role?
The Marketing and Communication Analyst supports the development, execution, and analysis of marketing and communication strategies. This role involves market research, campaign management, content creation, and performance reporting to drive financial education, lending solutions awareness, and product loyalty. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong commitment to Amex Leadership Behaviors, fostering a positive team culture and advancing organizational goals.
* Assist in creating, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
* Support market research by gathering and analyzing data on competitors, market trends, and customer preferences.
* Develop content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials.
* Create and manage marketing databases and campaigns on different platforms.
* Upload, review, and collect feedback from marketing platforms and processes.
* Manage and control the budget.
* Document processes to ensure the right controls are in place.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to the marketing and communication department as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing final year of studies).
* Internship or previous experience in marketing, communications, or related field is a plus, but not required.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Both Spanish and English)
* Strong Understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, SEO, etc.).
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
* Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Creativity and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving work environments.
