As a technician, you will be working under the guidance of the Hotel Engineers, repairs and maintains all aspects of the painted and varnished areas and surfaces in accordance with IHG standards.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
* Ability to distinguish and identify all colors, sheens and finishes.
* Handle and transport hazardous waste, in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
* Attends to repair and painting of all surface walls, floors, facades, ceilings and equipment both indoor and outdoor with either enamel or emulsion paint as required to match existing finish.
* Maintain tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags.
* Must pay great attention to detail and take pride in finished product's appearance.

What We need from you:
* Two years' experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Some college or advanced vocational training.
* Hotel experience preferred.
* Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations.
* A focused individual with passion, personality, individuality, integrity, creativity and drive for continuous improvement.
