Job Description:

(COMPANY NAME) is looking for a Chromatography specialist with experience in polymer characterization. The position will be within the analytical group in the EMENA Headquarters in Oegstgeest, Netherlands. The Analytical group supports and resolves technical problems ranging from long term projects to urgent manufacturing and quality issues. The position involves experimental activities, data analysis as well as theoretical interpretation of results.
You offer
* Hands-on experience of analytical measurements by GC-MS, HPLC and GPC.
* Able to work independently, yet in close collaboration with team members and multi-functional teams e.g. Chemists, Engineers and end users.
* Contribution to the development and implementation of test methods to support new and existing product/process development projects.
* Able to interpret data, write technical reports, and communicate results within the analytical team and production engineers' team in a high-quality, professional, and timely manner.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor/Master degree in analytical chemistry or related major
* 2+ years of experience with chromatography is a big plus.
* Knowledge and demonstrated expertise on techniques such as gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with liquid injection or headspace injection, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). Knowledge of liquid chromatography mass spectroscopy (LC-MS) and Pyrolysis GC is a plus.
* Effective written and oral communications. Ability to work across functional teams.
* Fluent spoken and written English. Dutch is a plus.
