Crowne Plaza Maastricht is a beautiful hotel in "the Paris of the Netherlands". Without a doubt, Maastricht is the most Burgundian city in the country. Crowne Plaza Maastricht is a hotel beautifully situated on the Maas. It offers a perfect base for a discovery tour through the historic city centre of Maastricht with its luxury boutiques, chic restaurants and attractive terraces.

The 174 richly equipped hotel rooms are of international standard, some of which have a view of the Maas and the old town. In addition, the hotel has nine banqueting rooms, a bar and a high-quality culinary restaurant.

Develop hotel revenue by following the sales and marketing strategies for the hotel which leads to achieving the annual hotel budget. Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms and food and beverage through direct client contacts.
1 FINANCIAL RETURNS:
- Achieving budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability for the following segments;
- Corporate group revenue
- Leisure group revenue
- Wholesale (groups)
- Banqueting revenue
- Group tour
- F&B revenue
2 ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT
- Increasing the account production for special corporate by room nights and increasing the contracted rates by working with a clear account plan
- Handle RFP bids of own accounts
- Further build on existing relationship with contacts
- Finding future contacts
- Increasing banqueting revenue from these accounts
- Handling incoming requests
- Executing the sales plans and strategies that drive measurable incremental occupancy,
- Increasing average rates, volume, food and beverage and banquet sales.
- Producing weekly/monthly reports about the result.
- Analyzing current/potential market and sales trends,
- Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share to ensure actual sales meets or exceeds established revenue plan.
- Create promotional offers in order to maximize the revenue from existing corporate accounts
3 NEW BUSINESS
- Looking for new local accounts for room nights and meetings
- Organizing sales blitzes with companies to search for new business in order to reach hotel revenue budgets in individual, group and catering revenue
- Organizing regular company visits off-sight in order to present the hotel and to develop fruitful cooperation
- Performs regular cold calls to search for new potential clients
- Participating in forums and hotel-related fares in order to find new business opportunities
4 COMMUNICATIONS:
- Participate via online tools in bi-weekly hotel Sales Strategy meetings
- Participate in daily online sales department briefings
- Participate in hotelwide training, development and rewarding programs online
- Work from home office with respective set-up arranged
5 GUEST EXPERIENCE:
- Providing guests with information (For example: loyalty programs, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services.
- Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
- Make regular 2-day visit to the property in order to communicate directly with the team every 2-weeks
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:
Planning own agenda, 3 days outside of the hotel meeting clients and closing business. 2 days site inspections and sales call blitz by phone from the hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
