How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Within the framework of HSEQ, create Health & Safety awareness, directly work with the Operations in order to provide awareness and support of Health & Safety. Through the creation of programs, policies and trainings they develop the required knowledge and skills in order to remain compliant and operate in a safe manner for our customer, our community and associates.
Site HSES Specialist reports directly to the Center Head of HSES
Role is located in Kraków, Poland and will require frequent worldwide business trips and short term assignments.
* Implement and continuously improve the project safety requirements based on E&C different technologies and site activities such as construction, erection, commissioning, shutdown, deperliting, repairing/maintenance,
* Perform construction and site safety management trainings for E&C Employees
* Identify the client's HSES requirements to be implemented in the project HSES organisation,
* Support the contractors qualification process, according to Air Liquide HSES requirements,
* Prepare and implement the HSES organization in projects from bidding phase until the unit start-up,
* Identify the site HSES hazards and support the preparation the HSES documents related to new projects,
* Participate in the project plot plan and 3D models reviews, advice from an HSE perspective,
* Recruit, select, train and manage E&C construction site's external HSES resources,
* Support/lead investigations and analysis of safety events, maintain reporting.
* Ensure safety campaigns are deployed on the construction sites and support their implementation,
* Perform on-site HSES audits/inspections to ensure proper operational and safe working practices are maintained.
* Based on audits and events, capitalize with elaboration or update of E&C standards, and improve the Site HSES Management System.
Are you a MATCH?
* Higher education in the field of health and safety or postgraduate studies (in accordance with the regulation on health and safety services),
* Experience in HSE /Civil Engineering/Chemical engineering or equivalent discipline,
* Proven practical experience in Field of Construction HSE,
* A previous relevant HSE experience within an International Company/Project will be a plus,
* Fluent in Polish and English,
* Competent to provide regulatory and other safety training (e.g. general site safety, work at height, work in confined space, scaffolding acceptance, road safety, safety leadership, Locking out/Tagging out, Electrical safety, safety in commissioning),
* Technical understanding of construction, chemical & gas safety risks,
* Have a basic technical knowledge of the typical risks related to engineering and construction, services, technologies and installations,
* Knowledge of project execution including construction sites, and/or manufacturing shops.
