What does the job involve?
Responsible for Safe Work practices, planning, execution and monitoring of lifecycle operations and preventative as well as unplanned maintenance of the facilities, equipment, tools, and systems used to acquire energy resources. Includes identification and evaluation of operational risks and setting operational performance targets and measures. May include oversight/scheduling of a preventative maintenance program and maintenance related functional activities as job planning, scheduling, shift control, performance monitoring and liaisons with operations groups to ensure equipment/plant scheduled downtimes are coordinated effectively.
HV Maintenance Engineer shall be responsible for the technical integrity of multiple elements of energy transmission infrastructure and should provide the technical expertise and assistance for the relevant disciplines and contribute to safe and efficient operations. Will work in organized team as a hybrid competence centre with team members located in Łeba, Gdansk, Warsaw, Oslo, Stavanger.
Person on the HV Maintenance Engineer position shall take local responsibility for operation and maintenance of all electrical system infrastructure (ESI) of offshore wind farms. Will have the role of interface with external services providers to ensure highest quality of service.
What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
* Operation and Maintenance planning of ESI assets. Develop maintenance strategies, conduct risk assessments, and optimize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and minimize risks in Renewables.
* Preparation/Review/Approval of switching plans according to polish electrical safety rules.
* Monitoring of ESI equipment's health status. Identify and assess operational risks associated with facilities, equipment, tools, and systems. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve operational reliability. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
* Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement measures to optimize operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability. Supervision of contractors for ESI equipment maintenance.
* Preparation of relevant Maintenance documentation/records.
* Keeping of ESI assets register and maintenance records up to date.
* Oversee technicians performing electrical works.
* Yearly transmission assets availability planning and reporting required by grid operator.
* Establish and enforce a culture of safety within the organization.
* Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for facilities, equipment, tools, and systems. Coordinate with operations groups to ensure effective scheduling of equipment/plant downtimes for maintenance activities.
* Oversee a preventative maintenance program to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of facilities assets, equipment, tools used in Renewables.
* Work closely with operations groups to schedule and coordinate equipment/plant downtimes for maintenance activities. Ensure effective communication and coordination to minimize production disruptions.

* A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
* 1+ years of experience (with 400/132/33kV High Voltage electrical transmission Systems including Power Transformers, Reactive Power Compensation, underground cables, GIS & AIS Switchgear.
* Proven technical understanding of High Voltage electrical safety rules preferably from an operational and maintenance background.
* Understanding of Polish legislation to achieve electrical safety compliance.
* Professional working level in English and Polish language.
* Polish SEP E and D certificate without voltage limitation.
