Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice is engaged in the production of starters, air dampers and valves, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and innovative electric generators for hybrid vehicles, as well as the regeneration of alternators, starters, dual mass flywheels and compressors for car air-conditioning. Valeo Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice has its own modern research and development center which provides innovative solutions for car manufacturing

Currently for our entity Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice we recruit R&D IT Systems Engineer

The Mission

As an R&D IT Systems Engineer, you will be the strategic bridge between Global IT standards and local Engineering innovation. Your goal is to ensure a high-performance, secure, and seamless IT ecosystem for our R&D teams, balancing corporate compliance with the high-speed needs of a modern Technical Center.

Your key responsibilities:
* Business Partnering: Translate complex engineering needs into technical IT solutions and manage stakeholders across local and global teams
* Systems Integration: Provide high-level support for R&D-specific infrastructure (OS, Networks) and lead the deployment of specialized hardware/software
* Innovation & Piloting: Drive the implementation of new business features and cutting-edge tools not yet covered by global standards.
* Compliance & Assets: Manage R&D Software Assets (licenses) and ensure alignment with Cybersecurity and Data Confidentiality standards
* Operational Excellence: Own the incident lifecycle (identification to restoration) and contribute to global IS&T projects

Join our team if you have:

Core Technical Foundation:
* IT Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with server environments, storage, and networking basics
* Systems Admin: Proficiency in Enterprise-level Windows & Linux environments
* Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of identity management and secure data exchange
* Languages: Fluent English (B2/C1) for daily international collaboration

Nice-to-Have (The "Value-Add"):
* R&D Tooling: Familiarity with PLM/ALM/CAD tools or dev-stack (Git, Jenkins, Jira/Teamforge, DOORS)
* Project Management: Experience in IS&T project lifecycles and ticketing systems (KPI-driven)
* Cloud: Knowledge of AWS or GCP
* Modern IT: Interest in CI/CD pipelines and "As a Service" models

Education
* Degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
