We are seeking a Technical Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and administering our Linux-based systems and ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Role responsibilities:

* Good working knowledge of German and English languages.

* Work well within and across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

* Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and applications, including servers, networks, and storage devices.

* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system backups.

* Install and configure software and hardware components, including third-party applications, middleware, and utilities.

* Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools.

* Collaborate with IT teams, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, provide technical support, and implement system improvements.

* Automate the provisioning and configuration of large-scale infrastructure using platforms and tools like: Ansible, Sc Venus, (Chef/Puppet), Git-hub.

* Troubleshoot complex problems within the HPC environment (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse)

* Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
