Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Professional specializing in MVS Networking, you will provide world-class remote technical support expertise to customers and internal field personnel worldwide on a 24x7 basis. You will utilize various tools and technologies to analyze trends, drive automation, and improve client experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Analyze Trends and Drive Automation: Use Cognitive Support Platform (Salesforce), Watson Einstein Analytics, or other tools to proactively analyze trends and drive automation, improving effectiveness for achieving exceptional client experience.
* Perform Root Cause Analysis: Use specialized debug equipment to isolate issues, document action plans accurately, and replicate device failure mechanisms using lab hardware.
* Generate Technical Documentation: Analyze knowledge centers for different Networking technologies and create technical documentation for service personnel and clients.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Keep customers, partners, and internal stakeholders regularly informed of problem investigation and resolution status throughout the support service request case life cycle.
* Provide Remote Technical Support: Deliver remote technical support service within established guidelines, demonstrating soft skills and technical skills that contribute to client satisfaction.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
* Exposure to Networking Technologies: Familiarity with various networking technologies, including hardware and software products, to provide technical support and generate documentation.
* Basic Understanding of Debug Equipment: Knowledge of specialized debug equipment to isolate issues and document action plans accurately.
* Interest in Technical Certifications: Awareness of Digital Technical Certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, and others, to demonstrate proficiency in networking knowledge.
* Experience with Analytical Tools: Exposure to tools like Cognitive Support Platform (Salesforce), Watson Einstein Analytics, or other analytical tools to analyze trends and drive automation.
* Curiosity about Technical Documentation: Basic understanding of creating technical documentation for service personnel and clients, analyzing knowledge centers for different Networking technologies.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
* Familiarity with Additional Networking Technologies: Exposure to various networking technologies beyond those mentioned, such as ADVA ACE FSP 3000, F5 201/301/302/303/304/401, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSE, Fortinet NSE4/NSE5/NSE6/NSE7/NSE8, Riverbed RCPE Professional WAN-Op.
* Basic Understanding of Lab Hardware: Interest in using lab hardware to replicate device failure mechanisms and isolate issues.
* Awareness of Multiple Technical Certifications: Curiosity about obtaining multiple Digital Technical Certifications to demonstrate proficiency in networking knowledge
