Our Internship Program will provide you with a unique opportunity to work on real-life projects with top specialists in the field. You will be assigned a Mentor who will support your growth and development.

The Microbiology & Sterilization Intern will gain experience through assisting the Microbiology and Sterilization team supporting Microbiology laboratory and equipment validation activities. Learn about manufacturing process supporting tracking and collection of samples for validation or microbiological testing purposes, review dunnage and placement of biological indicator and support any other tasks related to microbiology/sterilization daily routine. The intern will report to the Sr Sterilization and Microbiological Services Manager.

What will you be doing?
* Supporting Microbiology Lab Sustaining activities and Equipment validation.
* Support Sterilization Validation Maintenance Activities.
* Supporting Sterilization Validation Projects (dunnage preparation Biological Indicators. (BI) placement, data analysis and testing coordination, among others).
* Collaborating in the change assessment process and investigations.
* Learning industry principles and standards related to medical devices sterilization.

Program Length: 6 months
Location: Alajuela, Coyol

Education:
* Active student in a Microbiology Technician or Diploma program

* Able to read and write instructions in English.
