What you will do

The Strategic Frontrunner Apps & Showcases Team works on a variety of projects, such as innovative showcases that emphasize the value proposition of the (COMPANY NAME) Business Technology Platform. As a Working Student (f/m/d) in the Strategic Frontrunner Apps & Showcases Team, you will be part of a technology-focused team that was built to help shape the future generations of (COMPANY NAME) software.

Your main focus will be to support the Virtual Office Project with:

* Short, inspiring experiences that tell a story or showcase interesting interactions - while linking to the power of (COMPANY NAME)'s technology and product portfolio

* Levels, rooms, mechanics and interactables that showcase how the future of work might look like in the Metaverse

* Guiding the user with clear goals & Gamification

In this context, your task will include:

* Support our developers and designers in an iterative process to extend our virtual office experience

* Enrich our Immersive Enterprise Wiki with findings about Game Design Methods and best practices in the Metaverse ecosystem

* Work with user experience designers and developers to evaluate how AR/VR technology can b e used to improve the daily work of employees at (COMPANY NAME) and the industries (COMPANY NAME) supports

What you bring

* Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences

* Language skills: Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)

* Bonus points for experience with Unreal, Unity, or Core

* Bonus points for experience in working with artists, 3D modelling, video creation, physical installations, writing stories, D&D

Soft skills:

* Curious and eager to learn about new technologies

* Hands-on, reliable and open-minded mentality

* Creative, innovative and curious mind with a hands-on and reliable working ethic

The Technology & Innovation (T&I) board area is responsible for (COMPANY NAME)'s overall platform and technology development such as (COMPANY NAME) Cloud Platform and (COMPANY NAME) HANA. In addition, T&I drives the incubation and adoption of intelligent technologies like Analytics and Machine Learning across (COMPANY NAME)'s product portfolio. The T&I board area is also in charge of (COMPANY NAME)'s global innovation agenda and builds new business model- and market driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value. The T&I Strategy & Operations unit combines the agility of a startup with the backbone of a global market leader and explores untapped opportunities in software engineering and business with the goal to develop game changing solutions.
