Your role

* Benchmark a prototype smart sensing system against high-precision external reference measurements
* Design and execute robot accuracy experiments inspired by industrial robot performance standards
* Analyze positioning accuracy, repeatability, trajectory-following error, and dynamic behavior
* Develop Python-based tools for data acquisition, synchronization, visualization, and statistical evaluation
* Support the development of inverse kinematics, trajectory generation, and robot calibration routines
* Compare commanded, internally estimated, and externally measured robot positions
* Prepare clear scientific plots, reports, and presentations to communicate experimental results
Your profile
* You are enrolled in a master's degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering, automation, or a related field
* Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++, with demonstrable hands-on project experience
* Good understanding of robot kinematics, coordinate transformations, and 3D geometry
* Basic knowledge of control engineering, including PID control and motion-profile generation
* Practical hands-on experience with experimental setups, sensors, actuators, or robotic systems
