Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Layout Engineering Intern to join our design team in Oulu, Finland. In this role you and your team will work on layout design of Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits (ICs). In your work you will have the opportunity to work as part of international mixed signal team developing next generation Power Management ICs for automotive and industrial applications.

Job duties of Layout Engineering Intern will include:
* Layout design of Power Management IC blocks e.g. DC-DC converters
* Block level layout, top level integration, floorplanning and area estimation
* Physical verification and post-layout analysis (DRC, LVS, Parasitic extraction, EM, ESD)

Your additional responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to:
* Collaborating with Analog and Digital design teams and global layout design community
* Participating in layout design reviews
* Design flow automation/verification function development

Ihr Profil:

Minimum requirements
* Qualified candidates are in their final years of their ongoing studies (master or bachelor) within Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Please add your latest transcript of grades to your application

Preferred qualifications:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
* Good understanding of analog electronics theory. Courses taken in Analog IC design a must
* Experience of Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent IC layout design tools
* Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
* Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
* Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
* Strong analog problem solving skills, IC Layout design experience and knowledge of switching DCDC regulators is a plus
