Global Sales Data & Analytics Internship | Milan

For our Global Headquarters in Milan, (COMPANY NAME) is looking for a young talented person to join our Global Retail Excellence team helping in the development of advanced analysis, machine learning models and data visualization products. With exposure to the entire retail business, he will work to optimize sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and growth.

We consider interns as responsible team members who can have an impact starting from the day 1.
You'll be in charge of:
* Collaborate with the data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions for business problems.
* Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis using SQL.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
* Build and evaluate predictive models using Python and machine learning techniques.
* Support the development of data visualization dashboards and reports.
You are the right person if you:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying, and strong programming skills in Python
* Knowledge of data analysis and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, or Tableau.
* Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, associated with proactive behaviour.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently but also willingness to work in team.
