Recruiting Operations Intern

As a Recruiting Operations Intern, you will be based in Tokyo, Japan as part of our recruiting operations team.

The recruitment of highly qualified consultants is a key success factor for McKinsey & Company, and you'll be working to support Japan and other Asia offices in terms of recruiting administration and collaborating within a dynamic group of recruiting administrators and recruiters.

This internship provides hands-on experience across Asia, offering opportunities to develop professional relationships and strengthen your organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Your contributions will directly support our efforts to attract and secure top talent, helping us build a strong and dynamic workforce.

You will play a key role in supporting a variety of tasks and projects within our recruiting operations team. Your responsibilities will include managing data in the Applicant Tracking System, assisting candidates throughout the recruitment process, coordinating recruiting events, and supporting recruiting-related efforts. You will work closely with team members and consultants, participate in training sessions, and contribute to select team initiatives

Ihr Profil:

* Pursuing a degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or a related field
* Initial experience in the HR environment, preferably in recruiting, gained during an internship or as a working student
* Excellent customer service skills with a strong orientation towards collaboration in a team environment
* Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables
* Ability to independently manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision
* Ability to work in-person (team schedules and office locations may vary)
* Ability to operate office equipment
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Japanese and English, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
