Position Description:

We are looking for a Developer to join our GWCM team. The Global Wealth and Capital Markets (GWCM) division of CGI builds, maintains and operates industry leading wealth management solutions to serve our clients' needs for brokerage processing, portfolio management and administration, fund accounting, shareholder record keeping, plan administration, foreign exchange trading, and mortgage securitization. We also support banks in critical back-office functions, such as originations, collections and trade services, through other CGI solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your Day-to-Day:
* Attend the company's development meetings and contribute with their programming knowledge
* Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
* Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
* Integrate software components and third-party programs
* Verify and deploy programs and systems
* Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
* Recommend and execute improvements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Your Qualifications:
* Strong desire to learn and improve software development skills.
* Strong communications skills (verbal & written).
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Consulting and data analysis skills.
* Ability to efficiently multi-task.
* Ability to work on own with minimal direction, as well as in a team environment.

Nice to have:
* Knowledge of Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Finance.
* Knowledge of IT and Software Development Life Cycle.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
