Computer Science | Software Engineering internship: quality assurance testing

As part of this internship, you will help improve the quality assurance process for widely used tools and platforms. Your assignment

You will work on developing and executing a testing strategy for End User Services products. This includes manual and automated testing, defect reporting, and supporting acceptance testing for new features. Your main responsibilities will be:
* Develop a quality assurance testing approach for multiple products and services.
* Execute manual acceptance test cases across different platforms.
* Automate test cases where possible to improve efficiency.
* Document defects, usability issues, and edge cases clearly and accurately.
* Collaborate with product owners and teams to validate new releases.
* Provide feedback to improve user experience and product reliability.

This is a bachelor or master's internship for minimum 6 months, 3-5 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:
* Are pursuing a master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, or a related field.
* Have a basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
* Are analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on user experience.
* Communicate effectively and work well in a collaborative team environment.
* Are proactive and capable of working independently when needed.

Other requirements you need to meet:
* You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
* Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
* You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
* If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
