Event Management | Communications internship: community engagement support

This internship is part of the Society and Community Engagement team, focusing on Employee Giving. Our mission is to design and implement volunteering and giving programs that empower employees to support local communities. Every ASML employee receives 8 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) annually. There are countless ways to make a difference-whether it's helping at a local food bank, teaching at a school, or donating blood to save lives. By contributing time, skills, or resources to non-profit organizations and causes, together we can truly create impact.

Your Assignment

As an intern, you will assist the team in setting up and supporting programs, projects, and events related to Employee Giving.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the ASML Society and Community Engagement team in Veldhoven with organizing volunteering events and promotional activities for Employee Giving.
* Helping set up programs and gaining hands-on experience within a dynamic team.
* Assisting with daily tasks and ongoing projects.

This is a mbo or bachelor internship (non-thesis) for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (hybrid). The start date of this internship is February 2026.

Your Profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:
* Are enrolled in an MBO or bachelor's degree program in Community Management, Communications, or Event Management.
* Enjoy organizing and coordinating activities and have a proactive, hands-on mindset.
* Have strong communication skills and can work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Are organized and detail-oriented, with good time management skills.
* Feel comfortable using digital tools and event platforms to support planning and execution.

Other requirements you need to meet:
* You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
* Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
* You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
* If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
